Starting problem

When I start my car, it starts off slowly I thought It was my battery because it was low, so I replaced it. so still does the same thing, when I want to start it, it will just click and dont even crank and when I try it again it starts off slowly, could it be my switch?

Could be a starter with excess resistance. Or excess resistance in the power cable from battery to starter. Look for any signs of corrosion on cables or battery acid also raises resistance

No. The ignition switch energizes an electromagnet on the starter (the solenoid) which closes yet another switch mounted on the starter. This second switch connects the starter directly to the battery. So, the ignition switch either does or doesn't close this second switch, depending on its condition.

There is a condition, when the battery is nearly dead, where there is enough power to close the solenoid switch until the solenoid switch closes. Then so much power goes to the starter (remember the battery is nearly dead) the solenoid switch is no longer held closed. Once the solenoid switch is open and the starter is off line, sufficient power is again available to close the solenoid. What you hear is a chattering noise as the solenoid cycles.

Sounds very similar to a problem that I'm having, it's like I have to hold the key and the car stumbleshow to life.
Sometimes I even have to touch the gas pedal marginally.
