Hello everyone, i am having a small issue where my RPM does not read. I recently replaced the engine harness in the car as my old one melted a bunch of wires when a ground wire from the cam sensor melted. I have a feeling I am just missing a ground or something but with a scan tool in engine data it is reading RPM.... Wondering if my cluster has went out or if anyone else has ran into this problem. Everything else on the cluster is working, MPH, coolant temp, and fuel level. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

 

There is either no engine speed signal reaching the gauge or it is bad. Follow the troubleshooting steps in the FSM attached to resolve.
