How to remove tail light connector

How to remove tail light connector

Hey guys i’m trying to paint the housing of my tail lights and I’m having trouble removing the connector behind the tail light. It looks like it just slides off but its being stubborn and I dont want to break anything.






whats the correct way to remove this?

There is a little arrowhead molded to the plastic housing, it can be stubborn. I would use a small pocket style flathead. You have to depress the arrow back enough so that you can pull the connector off. Here are some pictures....

Lol no, things a pain. Hopefully i can get the other one off without breaking it lol.
