Switch for Alt Maps

Hello everybody, i have a question...right now i have Tephra and use TPS for switching between Maps, i don't have the IC spray button but and i was wandering if is possibile to install a simple ON/OFF switch connected to the IC spray cable and use it for switching...a Little bit more practical than the TPS
Thank in advance

Why not just add a flex fuel sensor and be done with it?

I use the car also in winter for doing winter things, but i have one dedicated map 290HP, and the other Is 400HP, 400HP Is too much for snow, unless i use studded tyres, but not always i have good conditions...is not a big problem the TPS, the switch Is just for comfort, and i would keep the ability to choose

Ok so back to my question why not tune for flex use a pump gas for 200 hp and e85 for your 400 hp map. I mean i use to drive my evo with 600 wheel in the snow without any issues so I guess I don't see the issue. Unless you don't have e85

we don't have E85, not on the pumps, we just have gasoline with different octane ratings, from 95 to 105, i use mostly 102... but i need to change the map based on the road conditions, not fuel conditions...if i go with 400Hp in certain conditions im a lot slower than 290...due to slipping tyres under boost...and a switch will be a little bit more comfortable than the TPS, during Summer i keep 400 and there Is no problem, but in winter

Sounds like you need some good winter tires, get you some Blizzaks lol. But no I know there is a way to do it but I honestly don't remember what wire you connect to but I know it use to be done back in the day. Where the stand alone is better option you can just tell it what to do and it does it. I think you can search some of the older archives and maybe its there somewhere. I know with a Haltech you just give it an input and tell it what to do and its easy lol. It has been a minute and I forget how the stock ecu works sorry I cant be more of a help.
