New turbo setup

This is a custom kit built by Ryan and the guys at RnR. I am very impressed with their work ethic, friendlyness, and the obsessive cumpulsive way they go about making things perfect. What a great bunch of guys down there. I enjoyed the trip to San Diego, but the drive back wasn't bad either...

Numbers will come when I'm done tuning.

why the cold air intake? Seems like you would loose power right there.

Explain please. It is a full 4 inch intake with no taper. Matches the 4 inch inlet on the turbo.

What turbo is that and what was the cost for them to custom build it for you?

Well, just two problems: 1) Wastegate is in the wrong place. 2) You can't drive in the rain.

I had a similar air filter location in my Galant VR-4 and drove in the rain all the time. Do you drive in water that is bumper deep? If the answere is "no" then you can use that intake setup

It looks like the sensor on the IC pipe is a temperature sensor. I would speculate that he is running an AEM EMS and that is the intake air temp sensor for converting over to speed density instead of using a MAS.

Later,

Keith

It's not what you see, it's what you don't see. This manifold will be very difficult to crack. I think you can get one for around $850. Then you need a turbo, intake, DP/O2 housing.
