HKS 264/264 has been dyno proven many times to have the best street torque curve.

264's are for low end power and 272's are top end power. HKS 264's may not be the best 264 out there. If you have the money buy Jun.

better lowend torque = higher lift for the higher acceleration curve.....so you'd be looking @ 260 tomei procams or 265 piper rally cams.

The fact is that even a 272/272 set can be set to give a great deal of low speed torque. The answer isn't so much which cams as it is how you set those cams. Plan on getting a set of adjustable gears. With gears, you can actually adjust the settings to give a great deal of low speed torque, but be advised that increased cylinder pressure at lower engine speeds increases the potential for detonation.

I think you guys are forgeting what produces more torque. Higher Lift makes torque. So if you can get some springs and retainers the Tomei 260 with 11.5 or the Revolver 265 with 11.5, or the Piper 265 with 11.5 would probably be your best bet. Just my 0.02

There's a whole thread about this. The higher lift values you see in Piper/Jun cams are beneficial on larger turbos. You will actually see less low end power with big Piper/Jun cams, as tested by Automotorsports. They still have their cam test page on their website.

As a side note, both Piper and Jun cams also require you to upgrade valve springs, etc., so on top of the more expensive cams, don't forget to factor in about 500 for this upgrade as well.
