white smoke from engine bay

I have bushr stg 4 with BR 440 and just got a exedy twin plate put in

It just started to get a little cold at night sometimes here in so cal.

I was racing a 04 cobra and after I raced I notice a lot of white smoke coming from the front bumper. I have never seen this b4.

Is this an exhuast leak? Bushur didnt supply a gasket to go between the turbo and downpipe but they say it isnt necessary.

Anybody know what this gas is from?

I am sure its an exhuast leak but just want to make sure it isnt the engine. I dont have an EGT but the stock coolant templ didnt rise at all.

any input is welcome.

I also think it could be the manifold cuz that thing was a ***** to tighten underneath and it prolly got loose.

Anybody have leaks with the buschur turbo kits?

I had some smoke on occasion coming form my 2g and it was becasue of standing oil around the motor. Once it reached a certain temperature it was burning off. Normally I would try to pop the hood and see where the smoke originated from but its then too late. It disappears. My only conclusion was the oil. It was always collecting under the spark plug cover becasue it had bad seals.

Check your oil drain line from turbo to pan,its easy to get a leak there.

Just for the heck of it I would check your cooling system. White smoke is usually related to water. Black or grey smoke is usually from burning oil.

First off, Buschurs downpipe doesn't use a donut, it was designed that way. Another thing, if all others recommendations checked out fine, check your 660cc injectors. Could possibly be a small leak there too due to not sealing right and dripping on exhaust. Does it smell like gas in the car or outside?

thnx guys for all your help.

The problem is solved

I have the BR 440 kit and it turns out that the oil return from the turbo actually was part way off so I was leaking oil and it was hitting the downpipe and burning.

I also re-sat(I guess that's proper grammar) the injectors, but they were fine even though the o ring wasnt completly seated properly.

Thank again guys for all of your trouble shooting ideas.
