the tomei kit is only guaranteed to last when you buy 1 of their genesis or derive motors
Who gave you that info ?? Tomei, Jun cranks are not 4G64 cranks. They are made from forged billet stock and are drop in with the proper cylinder work.

just out of curiousity- when you say forged billet stock, do you mean that they're made from the ground up as a forged cam or that they're just a forged 4G63 cam?

value,

so essentially, a JUN 2.2 built 4G63 is a fortified engine that i'd never have to worry about?

can i get up as high as 8000rpm without any worries?

I would consider upgrades to your valve springs and retainers.

well if i was spending that much on a bulletproof bottom end i would definitely spend the money on 272s, valves, valve guides, arp bolts and studs, and titanium retainers and springs

block would be balanced and blueprinted & head would be ported.

OK, I am officially asking (for those who might give Slowboy crap about jumping in), what mods need to be made to install your stroker kit? Notching the block, etc. What size pistons? OE bore requiring a hone to install, or over? Are they available in OE or higher compression (cause I'm always "outside the box")?

Yes you need to clearance the Bottom of the cylinder walls.. Not as much for the eagle rods as the manley due to the larger rod size.. Pistons come in std, .020, .040, .060 .. If you choose std bore, The pistons are designed to have no boring/honing required and have around .004 piston-wall clearance. The std compression is 8.8:1, but a custom piston is available in our stage 3 kits which you can select the comp ratio you want..

Sorry to chime in the thread.. didnt want to hijack. just mention we have them aswell..

Thanks
Mark
