The JUN 2.2 does seem to be the best kit. You get the low end tq and quicker spool from the extra .2 displacement and you get to rev to 9k. Now can someone tell me if you could use the JUN 2.2 Stroker Kit with like BR Stage 3 Heads or anyother vendors Heads?

I know of one that is assembled and waiting for install. I'll post the results in a new thread when it's done.

BTW - This thread was bumped after two years of inactivity and know you guys are responding to posts that are over two years old.

Yes it may be an old post but still has some valuable information.

My question is, out of everyone using a stroker kit, who is running a 4G64 crank and block and how it is holding up and performing? Im asking this because my plans include adding the EVO upper end on my 4G64 lower end, but if the 4G63 block is more durable that seems to be a better choice. All opinions would be appreciated.

+1, I was planning on a stroker kit later on down the road but I see 4G64 blocks for sale cheap all day long. How well do they work when paired w/the 4G63 head? And what all would be needed to use the 2.4L block on the Evo 8 other than pistons & rods? What size pistons & rods, and what companies make them for these types of apllications?

we have a ton of options for those using the 4G64 bottom end. Even custom rods and pistons are available if you have a specific configuration in mind.
