Help with lower IC pipe install

Hey all, was trying to install a Greddy IC (with lower piping). As it turns out, the stock IC pipe that connects to the turbo curves in a way that the pipe itself somewhat blocks the bolt. Any ideas on how to get to it? I dunno if a stubby wrench would work (need someone with small *** hands) or maybe a flexible extension? That's the only thing left, all the other new pipes and the IC itself is on already (although I forgot to use lock washers on two of three IC brackets... will that matter?)

If anyone who has done the lower pipe install would let me know, thanks!

I have been told you have to take the starter off to get to them. Can you use the factory elbow coming of the turbo like the AMS kit uses and just attach your rubber piece to it?

I just removed the starter and I got on them very easily with a long 1/4 " drive and extension

A little hint - use black RTV sealer on the pipe surface that mates to the turbo to seal it well

Also if you replace the stock turbo discharge tube with the Greddy one you will need some high temp sealant as there is no gasket with the Greddy one. Sorry if you already new this just thinking of things that might help you that have been forgotten by others.

Hmm... actually mine came with a gasket? It should be ok, I think. What's involved with taking out the starter? I was afraid to touch it cause I didn't wanna take anything off that I didn't have to.

First step - disconnect battery

Remove under tray

Take off power cable to starter 12 mm nut and snap connector

Remove two 14 mm bolts holding starter - take starter off

Now you should be able to reach the turbo discharge pipe

Hm, I just noticed.. the IC pipe to the turbo doesn't have a nipple on it. What do I do with that extra tube that connected to the stock pipe? I can't just leave it open...

Okay, well, what I ended up doing was just taking out the T line between the actuator, the IC pipe, and the stock boost solenoid, and just used the supplied line to connect the actuator and the stock boost solenoid.

I haven't taken the car for a spin yet but I'm about to, so we'll see how that goes...

Hm, I got a leak now between the IC pipe and turbo. None of the sockets I have are small enough to get in there and tighten the bolt completely... ideas?
