yeah I have it and the fit and finish are awesome especially the fit since its nice and flush with the bumper more so the HKS, JIC ect.
The sound on mine is loud because catless and very burbly sounding....it makes the enginbe sound more "boxer" like

I don't know hot the exhaust sounds or if it will be good or not.. I just ordered mine from Gruppe-S.. But I did get a high flow catalyst converter from helix and I saw the quality then few days latter I decided to get the whole setup.. Downpipe, test pipe and the catback..

By the way dose it come with a silencer.. I just remembered ..

If you have an evo 7 then usdm helix exhaust will probably stick out too far since it is made for our longer bumpers. I dont know if you already talked to gruppe-s about that or not....Just a heads up.

On the bright side it does come with a silencer!

Well from what I read it seems that the Helix exhaust is loud which sux because I wanted to get a full 3' exhaust without it being very loud.
The silencer helps but creates a lot of back pressure which will cause loss in power so I would not got that route.

So what other turbo back 3" can I get that is not very loud?
Thanks guys.

Adding a resonator would definitely help since the Helix system does not have any. It will still be pretty damn loud though since there's no real way to get around the noise of with a true 3" turbo-back exhaust.

I've heard a catless RMR turbo-back in person, and it's not as loud as the Helix. It does have two resonators in the cat-back though.

I had the cat-back for a few months, then I converted it to the full TB. The cat-back was actually pretty quiet by my standards. Very deep tone, and really sounds great at WOT. I had no fitment issues with the catback. The trick is to get it all bolted up and then play with the hangers at the end. It'll fit perfectly...

Now that I have the full TB (with Helix high flow cat), it's LOUD. Now, you can still pop in the clutch or put it in 5th to cruise by the man, but it can really roar. The nice thing is that it is still very deep. It sounds so different than the AWFUL and raspy Buschur exhaust. Very smooth and deep...

I give the Helix exhaust a big thumbs up!

WOW!! You'd give it that much props over the Buschur?? I've heard the Buschur is the lightest SS on the market, true 3" and produces the best results of any turboback on the market...

lol weird...my friend has the whole T-Back from Buschur and yeah it does sound raspy @ high rpms...we race all the time and i notice it everytime...

yeah the helix is deep rumble and @ WOT..it sounds so nice...its not raspy at all..

one thing i do like about the buschur is that, it looks really stealth..doesnt even look like u have an exhaust on there...

on the other hand the helix hangs low..but looks bad *** imo..

oh yeah plus i blow flames out of my exhuast and my friend doesnt...we have the same mods and same ecu tune..

one more thing if u put the helix silencer on it sounds just a little bit louder than stock...

Helix T-Back..

Is $439.00 shipped the best price anyone has found the helix for?
