The reason I was asking is because when it came in yesterday, there is what looks like a hanger that would have to be welded. Here's a pic. If it doesn't get welded, what is it used for?

does anyones exhaust sit to close to the bumper? because mine is dam near touching it and it seems that i cant get it to move away from it. and when i move the band around the canister to move the hanging angle it will move the tip away from the bumper but eventually the hanger pops out and it sits all funny.

Mine sits very close to the inside of the bumper and it looks a bit off centered. It has actually melted the bumper on the inside. Not a big deal can't see it, but I would like to figure out how to straighten it out and keep it away from the bumper. Other that that I think its awesome. Sounds great and I don't think its that loud and I have the TB with a test pipe.

I went out and took the left bolt out of the hanger bushing and it moved the exhaust about 1/2" away from the bumper. Wish I did that before I melted it a bit. Oh well no big deal. Im thinking about taking the other bolt out and moving the bushing over and bolting the left hole in the bushing to the right hole on the chassis to get the exhaust over even more. Give it a try if your having problems with the exhaust touching the rear bumper.

I had same probelm, melted bumper a tad. Smells nice, LOL. I tried to budge it and had no luck so i just took some dikes and sniped the bumper a tad. This gave me a 1/4inch clearance but still not centered. As for the cutting you can see it and it looks stock. What did you use to remove the plastic from the bump of your exhaust? And also when switching the bolt holes (damn good idea) did your pipe hit or rattle the gastank shiled? I was debating droping the exhaust and dinning up the shield some to give me more room. thanks man Let us know what works out best for you
