Unhappy installed new clutch won't go n2 gear

I recently installed a new clutch. (SPEC 1 stage 3) lighten flywheel and new throwout bearing. For some reason it won't go into gear while the car is on. when its off no problem just when its on. I asked around and some say its one of 2 things either the slave cylinder ( try bleeding? yes but is it necesarry if I didnt disconnect anything, see i have a stainless steel clutch line i installed a year ago)so its flexible and easy to move out of the way.Or it could be the throwout bearing(I looked threw the inspectionhoe on the bottom of the trans. and yes the throw out bearing does look like its not in the lock position meaning it looks like it should be pushed up against the pressure plate insuring that it is in the locked position. if this is my problem how can I get it back in the locked position without having to take it all apart again?

The way the release bearing attaches to the pressure plate is to travel it toward the pressure plate. When the release bearing tries to return the snap ring will clamp onto the bearing and attach. When it is attached there will remain a small gap between the bearing and the pressure plate fingers. If the bearing is not attached, you will have virtually no pedal pressure. If you do feel pedal pressure than try adjusting the rod at the pedal assembly. Be sure to leave at least a little free play from the rod to the m/c piston so you don't risk preloading the hydraulics.

i heard adjusting the shift linkage mount on the transmission will cure this. I'm about to do mine. I have the same problem with ACT.
