APEX I induction box and power filter installed...
Finally got the induction box and power filter installed. After fixing a small vacuum leak on one of the boost gauge lines, got the car running smoothly again. I must say, the induction kit is probably one of, if not the best, aftermarket induction kits on the market. Very easy install, clean final product, and actually freed up some air flow. Without a boost controller, I saw a boost increase and the sound is crazy. Very aggressive throttle note and rediculous recirculation/blow-off sound when letting off the accelerator. I will post pics shortly...

Here is a pic of the APEX'I induction box with power filter installed....Very clean finished product IMHO. After a weekend worth of driving, I would say getting an aftermarket BOV/recirculating valve that can hold 20 psi would be a huge power adder when installing this induction kit. In 1st and 2nd gear, I hit and hold 1.3 to 1.4 bar, but in 3rd, it will spike at those levels then go back down to 1.1 to 1.2 bar. I am getting th GReddy kit for the Eclipse installed with a ProFec B Spec II in the next few weeks, so I will post again the results...Here's the pic!!

You still use the OEM piping. I don't think APEX'I has a replacement pipe yet?

i got the intake but not the box. My boost is reading kinda funny it seems like i went from 19psi to 18 and when it tapers it went from 16 to 15psi since i installed the intake. i might just have a boost leak but has anyone else had this problem? Besides that this intake hasnt given me 1 problem, installing it or just driving around. Now im debating if i should just shell out the extra cash for the box.
