standalone ecu and afc?

I plan on using a HKS-F con V pro as my ecu so do I still need to get another afc device as well or the V pro already has that extra function built in?

Dude... you can sell the AFC, any standalone ECU can control fuelling and ignition timing, that's its primary purpose.

the HKS F conV i believe can only be tuned by HKS tuners...the afc can be tuned by anyone with a wideband O2 or a datalogger. its one or the other. i have the AFCII and i like it

So if you were to install a standalone on your car then would your AFCII be useless?

Given the comprehensive capabilities of a standalone or better piggyback unit, the addition of an safc on top of either would be redundant if nothing else. Attempting to do so would be akin to adding more vermouth to the already perfect martini.
