The header you are talking about for $290 would have to have some sort of adapter flange made and there is not telling where it would end up placing the turbo after that.

The cast manifold was built so there would be no reliability issues with a header.

The stock 2g manifold is something guys have spent tons of time trying to replace and such with headers. We run a stock 2g manifold on our Conquest, it has run 8.61 at 158 mph. Cast manifolds not only work, they work for long time with no issues.
