Pardon my ignorance, but...
What exactly are the benefits of installing an aftermarket oil catch pan?? I searched the forums and couldn't seem to find an answer. I'm looking specifically at the Weapon R oil catch pan from Lancershop.com. Thoughts? Comments? Suggestions??
Thx!

Good info. so with that stated that it is a good item to have in your engine bay, which ones do people reccomend buying? So far on the forum I saw the Weapon-R. What others are there that people would suggest?

If you don't think there is oil coating your intake tract, just disconnect the accordian intake tube and rub your fingers inside it. If your car has more than about 5K miles you better believe there is oil there. In a perfect world we could just vent it to the atmosphere and let it drip on the ground, but of course the EPA and the inspection agencies would have a hissy fit.
haha thanks for your responses, guys. Sounds like a good thing to have to help keep the car running well (& clean!)
Evo Police - the main reason I was looking at the Weapon R is because of it's location - it's supposed to be way easier to install and access than most other ones on the market.
