anything is possible with the right income. 2.0 liter in a 1.6 could be difficult but there are crx's with b20s I think.

anythings possible. It's just that evo engine and the transmission will have hard time fitting into the crx, that's the problem I see.

nothing crappy about the b series motors Honda has for the jdm crx. In fact b16 w/ 8 lbs of boost would pwn the evo on the straight. Here are some pics of an hatch w/ the swap and even has awd.

Mike Simon put a DSM 4G63 in a CRX, but it was also set up as a full RWD drag car. So, I'm not sure how viable of a street option this is.

why spend so much money in installing a 4g63, if you want something that will make the car hall @$$ try a K20A or a B18c that should do the trick . Then do some weight reduction and get the car to near 1800lbs with a B18c it should be near low 13's to high 12's , with a K20 and a few bolts on to make it work low 12's are possible (getting tracktion will be the problem on a FWD car)

Exactly, the costs for doing such thing are too high. Of course unless your friend has tons of cash, but why do it anyway when you can get a better car.

because 4g63 is turbo conscious engine and k20a is just another infinite variable engine.

the difference between 80hp.

I wouldn't say k20a or b18c on a crx is going to run low 13's. maybe high 13's with bolt ons.

where do you get these numbers? the crxs or civics running 12's or better have some serious cash laid into them. don't think a straight engine swap in itself will get you those 12's that's plain rediculous. when i mean serious i mean 10k with rebates.

running high 13's and occasional low 13's b16 will do.
