Well unless you are willing to launch it, they will probably beat you on the street. From a roll you will stay with them as long as you run decent boost (~23psi). That is the vette. The viper is another story. I wouldn't expect to hang with a stock 11 second vehicle unless I was running ~ 27psi or so on race fuel.

Hell no, the viper Traps @ 122MPH, Easilly done with a GT35R on pump, hell even a 50Trim if tuned properly. If you launch properly, you get VERY fast spoolup on a BIG turbo.

How do you know this, do you own one of these turbos? I sure can't get 122mph on pump gas at all, let alone easily. More like 112 on pump. Maybe 114-115 here at sea level.

stock turbo evos with pump gas trap at 113mph. 120mph with a bigger turbo is no problem.

with the new water injection kit's from AMS coming out, trapping in the high 120's and low 130's should be very reacheable on pump gas with the 35r kit.

Water injection is not much different than race fuel though...you still have to use something special. How long would a tank of water last? I am curious if it only kicks in when you accelerate hard. If this is true I will definitely be looking into this. I doubt I could get 120s even with race fuel though. I am only spiking to 1.7 or ~ 24psi and dropping to 22 psi or so on race fuel and getting 116. I am sure with water injection/race fuel, cams, and ~ 25psi I might be able to hit the 120 mark though. I doubt I would hit 116mph at the tracks in Phoenix either. I can only seem to hit these high mph at these sea level tracks. I will try Firebird in Phoenix on my way back though.

how do you guys suppose Buschur's 20G Twin Scroll Upgrade would compare to the smaller of AMS's turbo kits- the GT3071R; in terms of longevity, reliability, and performance?

are they about equal, with Buschur's being the longer lasting since it retains the factory twin scroll, water cooled turbo?

i am practically sold on the Buschur, i'm just curious. i'm not looking for a dyno queen or a dragster; just your every day quick spooling, high output road racer.

I get 112 MPH or faster on my STOCK Turbo, get some tuning buddy, there is something wrong with your car.

Do you have cams? There is no way my car would have done better than about 108-110 on the stock turbo. I was only getting 107 at the track when I ran. Usually 105 though. Trust me, I have no doubts I need another reflash. I can probably get away with more timing than I am running. Oh and I need to adjust my AF with my afc for race fuel, because it always runs richer with higher octane. And as far as Burschur running that 11.23 on the stock turbo.....how many people are in the 11s on the stock turbo? There is a list and I bet most are larger turbos on that list. It CAN be done, but certainly isn't easy.
