If the 0300 is thrown due to the camshaft position sensor and the crankshaft position sensor not seeing eye to eye, then every single car out there with cam gears that are set to anything other then a stock setting should throw the code correct? I do not know one way or another, but if this is how the ECU gathers its information to throw the 0300 then it would make sense. For the record, my car had over 7,000 miles with cam gears set anywhere from -1/-4 to -2/-2 with no 0300 codes ever.

No mivec, just varying degrees of random misfire severity. If a car just gets the code, and doesn't misfire, the fix might take care of the SES light. If the car gets the misfiring badly, then it's possible that the fix would get the SES light to go out, but more than likely would just take care of the misfire.

It is the exact fix that I listed. If you cut the Baro wire you'll see that your check engine light on the p0300 code will disappear and a baro will appear. If you splice in a potentiometer you can make the check engine light disappear totally. It's basically the solution I will be using until someone comes out with another.
