Question Down Pipe Question?

Can you list the Downpipes that fit in the EVOVIII without having to change the lower arm brace.

I can't list all of them, but I'm running with the Apex'i down pipe. It didn't require any changing of the lower arm brace and it's adaptable to most aftermarket parts, whether you upgrade your cat (or do a cat-delete) or the turbo outlet.

DC Sports fits like a glove. AVO comes with spacers and it fits as well.

The WORKS 70mm and 76mm downpipes.

We went through 21 prototypes to get the 76mm perfect. It has boxed, threaded hangers like the OE pipe and comes ceramic coated.

Plus it includes the 76mm ID doughnut gasket to slip onto our upcoming cast O2 housing which has a 76mm (3.0") OD outlet.

AMS Downpipes fit as well. They redesigned them to clear both lower braces

Thumbs up Works

Just yesterday installed the WORKS 76MM (3") ceramic coated down-pipe, 76MM hi-flow cat and 76MM intermediate pipe. This is still using the OEM muffler, but when WORKS release their muffler (hopefully soon) I will put that on.

One word: QUALITY.

Everything fitted perfectly and the DP has adequate clearance everywhere including both tie-bars.

Sound is just like stock ( with the OEM muffler).

Power gain is hard to tell, but it certainly did not loose any and it drives just like stock.

import tuner did a review on the AVO setup... most of you probly read that.. 18 whp on the dyno at something like 80+ degrees with only 1500 miles on the motor. so, if you want proven performance... AVO...
