ACT clutch installed, now noise?

It sounds like gear rattle by the description. It doesn't sound like the assembly/bearing issue. I am going to take a guess that you also installed an aluminum flywheel. Is that the case? I only say that because we haven't had any complaints about noise and with the reduced weight of an aluminum flywheel the disc springs have a more difficult time dampening out torsional vibrations. These vibrations end up making the gears rattle when not under load, which is an audible noise. They take more of a beating too so a super light flywheel ends up contributing to premature disc center wear/damage. How was my guess?
