BAD Front Differential

How do you know when your front differental goes. What kind of signs do you get....

Just remember that the front diff on ours cars is inside the TC.

Jack up the front wheels so that both are in the air, then spin one tire in any direction and the other wheel should spin in the opposite direction without stopping or binding. If it does then your diff is f*#%ked.

Or you will hear a loud howling noise coming from your TC - on or off throttle (car has to be moving). Also if ur in neutral (car has to be moving)

When my front diff went out the only thing i could see was that drivers iner cv boot came off , which i found out later that a effect of the diff crapping out . When i truned the wheel right or left it made a loud "POP" and moved the sterring wheel . What you should do is put ur car in gear , jack up the front , trun the drive wheels with your hands back and forth . if the diff is bad the other front wheel will not trun or trun and stop and make a griding sound . hopes this helps ,this is how i found out what wrong with my car , btw it ant cheap to fix !
