Maybe, but who cares, this isn't a N/A car so it doesnt' mean nothing in this instance. now if you drove a honda, yeah you don't want a cutout.

I just installed Quicktime Performance's downpipe with cutout last night. I'll let you know my impressions on it this weekend when I get to play with it. It's being mated onto a stock exhaust system--so I should be getting some big gains. It's this one here:

Decisions decisions. I was always a big fan of e-cutouts in trucks. Now with this, I considered, because I do not want to give up my cat. I was just going to put a catback exhaust on for now...but now I must think.

because the strocker is supposted to help your spool and low end, and also it gives you more torque

That is right! and they have been offering this product for VW for a long time as well.

QTP first start selling and testing these electronic dump valves on the WRX in fact they were the first one to break 12's on a WRX on stock turbo.

For an N/A application. The less back pressure for our turbo cars the better. Back pressure is never a positive for us.

sweet, my buddy has one of these on his supra. every once in a while it doesnt close all the way... and hes a perfectionist. i guess the electric ones have issues when you open and close them a lot after a while. nothing a little tweaking doesnt fix. but it requires mantaince like everything. every oil change or so gotta mess with it and keep it working properly. BUT they are cool. he runs his on a 97 Supra TT, he has 3" TBE already so its more for fashion reasons cause his exhaust flows enough it only makes like a couple top end ponies over his good enough flowing exhaust. i still flip the switch when i get to drive it, plus its a good way to let someone know you want to race if your on the street.

so if this is an example of before and after opening the electronic DP, this proves, it ACTUALLY hurts spool time EVER SO SLIGHTLY, but it does gain some power with better flow.

some people were saying how it improves spool, but a little back pressure is actually better than no back pressure for spool.

Those two runs were started one after another, by 200rpm. If you shift the red line over by 200 rpm, then it's the opposite of what you say.
