This winter we are going to build a different engine that will allow us to take full advantage of the HX50 boost potential. The current engine still has the Toda pistons, Toda 4g64 crank, and Pauter rods. The head was built by Forrester/AMS. This winter I may have a low mileage built stroker engine for sale if you no anyone who might be interested.
I would be interested to hearing your thoughts on what your leaning to in terms of internals and block and your new motor.

BTW: Since you have an 03, you may not know this, but it is possible to put an alluminum roof from an 05+ in your 03 for around $1900. Robi and several others have done it. Also think about 2-Piece rotors with alluminum hats which save a lot of unsprung weight.

If this car comes out as planned I think it would win the SCC ultimate street car competition.

Denver racing season over in OCTOBER????

We've only just begun:

Come on out to Steamboat Springs and REALLY show us how much torque that thing makes.

I help organize an ice track rental at the Bridgestone Winter Driving School. Anyone who wants some serious drift training, wants to explore the limits at safe speeds or just plain wants to learn to drive, shoot me a PM for info.

Sorry for the , but this is the most fun you'll have in your Evo with your pants on and I just want to spread the love.

Dog gears! We just finished the installation.

What's amazing is the fact that the stock gears still look great even after last season's abuse. Kudos to Mitsubishi.

The only way to stop that drive/parasitic loss is to stop the sc from being belt driven. The only way I can see to do that is with a clutch...if you do not have a clutch you are not making that loss go away.

Your goal is to have a autocross car one weekend and a drag car the next while still having great street manners it seems. You are going to have one nose heavy EVO with all of that plumbing up front....I won't speculate any further except to say that your car will be nose heavy which will cause more understeer...a trait that EVO's already have.

Are you racing in Bandimere? All car's will have the DA issue, so at least you are on a even playing field.

If it were my car. I would put in a Magnus 2.4 stroker 8.5K-9K redline use a GT35R turbo at the largest and be done with it. If you need more power use N20 and a electric cutout at the track.

Good luck, it's real hard for me to see this working very well though. I'll be watching for your updates.
One way or the other it's not done being tuned right now and its still fast as hell. The car has power the second you hit the gas and right when you think the worst of it is over, the turbo has caught up and you're hauling even more ***. It's pretty neat really.

It's a costly upgrade. If you're serious and have a healthy budget send me a PM and I'll share some of the details. Buy a 911TT and save yourself some money.

One more thing, make sure you get beefed up axles from driveshaftshop.com if you plan on drag racing it often. Just ask Al.
