i'd like to know how you've setup this whole system as well. Especially you're secrets. I'm in a current project with a friend in building a twin-charged 7A-GTE 20v Mk1 AW11 MR2. The 7A-FE motor came in today and we've already started to break it down to swap over the 4AG 20v head onto it. Original plan was to just go SC or TC but this car of yours has inspired us to go further and do both. -=o] keep it up and i can't wait to see you're results. Good luck.

Yea, you would probably not pass emissions with really aggressive camshafts.

You should try VP Import fuel, it's even better than C16.

The car looks quite good. The hood is great because the S/C sits right there in the vent space, I'm sure that will confuse a few people.

Also, for reference, I'm that kid w/the flat black GSX-R that bert was talking about.

this car is bananas! its weird though how you've had to build everything to living in denver. i.e. 91 octane, and dealing with the altitude, so what would this cars potential be on the east coast with 0 altitude. if u want to know im more then willing to be a donor driver over here for u! but seriously, could this car be any crazier then what it already is!

Are you talking about the EVO vs. WRX/STi Shootout on the 20th of August in New Jersey or the DSM Shootout on the 14th August in Ohio?

The dog gears have arrived, they look good. I may have to bail on the Volk TE37 mags as they have not even been produced by Volk in Japan yet. It's been 7 months already and looks like it will be at least another 3 months. Volk is horrible about communicating and they wait until they have enough orders before beginning production of a specialty wheel like the mags. So far, they don't have enough orders to justify a production run of mags. I'm thinking of going with the CE28N's instead, 18"x9.5". Has anyone seen these wheels in person? If so, what do you think?

I do have to congratulate you on alot of perseverance and hard work, but I again still have to ask why?

I think he did it for the hell of it plus its always cool to do something different, providing you have the time and most of all $MONEY$ to spend on something like this.

Well, you obviously have a very limited understanding of nitrous oxide and physics. Read the first posts. And why don't you ask Al or AMS how fun it is to drive a GT40 around on the street? You think someone is going to use a 7,000 RPM two-step and a 100 shot at every stop light?

No offense...but you're an idiot! First of all, the "blowdryer" isn't black and it looks awesome (check out the new pics). I don't want to use N2O as this car isn't just for drag racing. The supercharger has a bypass valve, once the turbo hits boost the supercharger is completely bypassed (no "horsepower eating.") What makes you think that there will be any more reliability issues with this 900 HP setup vs. the 900 HP setup that you're describing? I'd expect "issues" with either setup.

This turbo is huge. We ran it without the supercharger and made 10psi of boost at 7500 rpms with a 2.3 L stroker. Without the supercharger this car would not be driveable on the street ot autox. With the supercharger we are able to make 30 psi on this turbo at 6,000 rpms with minimal tuning (The old map is still loaded). Once this is dialed in it will be sick. We've been beating the crap out of it over the past week and so far everything works flawlessly.

Also, read the part about my location. I'm in Denver. Try running a large turbo out here, it doesn't work. The idea behind this car is explained in detail throughout this thread, you should try reading more than the first post.
