Super charger/ Turbo pics
I know it is not the bigs, but she is good for over 600 to the ground on race gas, and the shift recovery is instant, but with your sick set up the blower takes care of shift recovery! Very nice

J/K, great looking setup. Some nice stuff coming out of Switzer.

Yeah she is definatly a fun evo! So any estimates on your cars power potential, with that blower/turbo package?

What's interesting about this setup is the projected power curve. My previous setup made about 590awhp (altitude corrected, I'm in Denver) but only made 140HP at 3500 rpms. This setup will make 800awhp and hit over 200 HP at 3500rpms. The supercharger makes the 2.3L engine act like a 4.0L engine. The usable power band on this car is frightening. At this altitude we typically see a 20% increase in spool up time. This turbo (a trick HX50 Holsett turbo) would not be usable in Denver without the supercharger.
My best 1/4 mile time in Denver (5800 ft absl) with the HKS3240 is 11.4 at 123mph. I'm obviously hoping to do much better than that with an additional 200 whp at my disposal. The sequential shifting Halinger dog box will also make a big difference.
As of right now this is all theory and best guess. I'm sure that we'll have our share of surprises due to the complexity of this system.
Wow, sounds great and thanks for keeping us posted!

I don't think that we'll push the boost past 35psi this season. This winter we are going to build a new engine with lower compression that will be able to handle at least 40psi of boost. We're hoping for 800awhp this season with room to grow next season.

The Metro would make an excellent platform!!!

I live in Denver so the altitude would never allow me to use such a large turbo without a supercharger. The supercharger is covered with tape in the picture to prevent it from scratches while the car's being finished. I have more pictures that I can post later of the manifold, liquid to air intercooler etc.
