Idle Issues, stock BOV

Lately I've been having erratic idle. I never have stalled out (until this past weekend when I braked at a traffic light when the clutch was depressed) but the idle will jump up and down between 500 and up to 1300 rpm.

This has sometimes gotten better when I've reset the ECU but over time, it goes back to these similar symptoms.

I'm running the stock BOV, stock internals, stock turbo. My mods are mostly bolt-ons (turboback, MBC, S-AFC2, cone intake filter)

WRX owners have told me cleaning out the MAF sensor helped erratic idle on their cars, any validity to this with Evos?

I know I'm running slightly rich (bumper carbon) but I'm wondering if there are any other things I can look at to resolve this?

I have not checked injectors yet.

Thanks for any help!

I'd try going back to the stock airbox and see if that fixes things

What are your settings on the AFC?
Just with a panel filter I had to richen it 10% at idle and now the fuel trims right.

I'm running BR settings....but I know I'm running pretty rich (result of carbon on my bumper)
I'm getting tuned in the near future.

I am currently running a CEL for my 02 sensor....intermittent connectivity in my o2 harness extension wires I believe.

I think my clamps are ok, my boost and holding and sustaining fine.

So far to check:
1) MAF sensor
2) spark plugs
3) ?
