I have one (surprisingly) and have had no problems at all with standard boost (peak at 1.6 Bar)...I even took off the release pipe, plugged it and used it as a VTA to see if it was leaking any, and as long as you don't feather the throttle, there is no leaking of boost.

Mine sometimes drops the RPM low around 600 but nothing major. It only happens when I'm not paying attention to my driving.

I abstained from voting... It has a stiffer spring than the stocker, this means it will hold more boost but it will not react as quickly or to the more subtle inputs like the stocker. Not really what I would call "problems"... just not really "better" unless you're running more boost than the stocker can handle which most of us aren't.

Im looking into one also. I know a few people that have it and love it. However I am curious to see if it can hold boost from 21-25 psi which is where I will have my evo at shortly.

Had it on the car for a week or so before taking it off. The plastic stocker held boost better (seriously) and the car would stall out in stop and go traffic. Complete waste of time on my car.

Wow thanks for the info. My stocker is leaking at around 13.5 psi. I need a BOV that can hold up to 25 psi before I tune.

i have had mine for about a month now, and no problem at all, with the stock unit boot would drop to 16psi, now it never goes under 17psi by redline

Last nite I pressured tested my Ic pipes and the stocker started leaking right after 10psi ! I know for a fact that the hks ssqv will not leak @ 21-22 psi , but it drives like **** with it on the car . I ordered a MR bov and I hope it holds more psi than the stocker .

i've had my mr valve on for almost a week now, and i must say i love the thing...boost response time is astounding compared to stock and the forge dv i had on previously...i'm running 20.5 psi (until i get tuned in april) holds great, no stuttering, no fluttering, no stalling...i definitely recommend this valve to all evo owners (except the lucky mr owners who already have it)...check out GnV Motorsports , great guys, very willing to help...
