Anybody know where I can get my hands on a holley or supra pump for the evo. My walbro is acting up, and would realy like to try a replacement.
Thanks

Its strange how people seem to have issues with the Walbro's and Evo's.

They are standard issue in the Honda world.

actually there aren't (as far as I am aware at least) - other pumps will fit, only the Walbro drops in

I'd actually prefer to run an inline pump in place of the walbro if I was going to run something bigger/better than the Walbro.

Yes! I found something that may work, but sort of risky, wiring splicing maybe for the evo. Go to www.strictlydriven.com, this is a subaru site but they sell the Denso 280 Lph that the Supra's and RX7's run. Price is $179.99 for the extra 80 bucks I would try it. The Denso is superior over the Walbro. Any feedback?

Supras run a 255 pump - these are significatnyl bigger than an Evo pump - custom install for sure (we have a customer running the 280 pump locally)

DSM guys use the Supra fuel pump.. flows a little more than the walboro and its 10x more reliable. Not sure on fitment for the EVOs. Id call Nate at DSM Motorsport and ask him, he sells the supra pump and would probably know.

I was wondering the same thing. I ended up going with the Walboro just because of time contraints, however, Id like to take that peice of crap out of there some day and put in a nice reliable quiet pump

I just started hearing mine the other day. Its not bad at all. Its actually nothing to complain about. Personally, Id just rather have Toyota pump in my car than a $90 one. They HAVE failed before! I hope Im not that guy!
