I think this will save people a lot of arguments sake with Mitsubishi if they have warranty issues.

I'm just looking at it in a logical point of view, I don't understand why one companies product will keep mitsu's warranty and another doesn't. And to modify the car and have your warranty kept is a big bonus and it should be shared with other members on EvoM.

What I am trying to say is that to state "buy vishnu keep factory warranty and buy buschur throw factory warranty out" is MISLEADING and the statement should be retracted. WARRANTY is a big factor when people want to modify their car, and to make such statements will skewer potential customers when it is clearly NOT true.

So once again, he said and she said is all fine and dandy, but put up real proof before making such claims so people are not MISLEAD.

thanks

i have to agree with you. mitsubishi is not going to void one warrenty over the other depending on who your tuner is. it comes down to the dealership if they want to void or not. you'd get your warrenty voided in both cases at some dealerships and not at others. point is don't mod at all if you're not willing to risk it.

It's not misleading if it is true. It depends on the service manager at the dealership. If they want to warranty cars with X brand products and not cars with Y brand products, its up to them. While MMC mandates that neither parts be warrantied, dealers will often do what they feel is right.

As far as buschur vs vishnu parts... I like vishnu signature turbo-back and buschurs intercooler. That's about it from them. The rest would be stock box, 272 cams, mbc, pump, injectors and safc tune.
Hey she asked me to grab her hooters when she was out here. True story and she can't deny it. I got game. BOooNG! BOooNG! Stiffy Stiffy.

Well if its true that would be great, but still need full evidence cause seriously that is a big plus if you can keep your warranty if you purchase Vishnu products.

On the other hand, if stated dealer is denying warranty based on brand, that is a clear violation of the Magnusson Moss Act. Lots of potential lawsuits.

Either way, Mitsu is gay for voiding so many warrantys. I think if you mod a car extremly with new turbo and **** then ya. But doing basic boltons and even a reflash big deal. It's like saying you cant warranty a computer cause you put a sticker on the side of it.

If you knew Mitsus past from the DSM's you wouldn't be saying that, but then again this car is no civic. They are being strict for a reason and i don't blame them one minute. You pay to play.

I have a complete Buschur stage 4 with an AEM and methanol and i know i have no warranty. People think i am crazy when i tell them i have no warranty on a car with only 4k miles.

i have just learned to accept that every part i break i have to pay for to replace... i just think thats fair cuz mitsu made the car as it is stock.. most people that mod the car will track the car and from my experience very few issues actually occur at a road race.(which is what the car was designed for) Giving the car has a good tune, a decently smooth driver that doesnt crunch on the tranny and t-case i think the car will run fine on the track with 400 hp easily. Its the drag racing and hard launching that break things on these cars, and quite honestly if i was mitsubishi i wouldnt cover that either.

by the way, also one reason Mitsui implemented the 2step launch control at 5,000RPM is because anything above that causes stress to the car that it won't be able to handle. . . . Warranty is for legit reasons only, if you upgrade your car to 400hp and keep lauching that ****, and the tranny breaks, umm I don't think its mitsu's job to warranty **** that is broken due to abuse.
