BTW Dave I just think you are taking it to far. Relax and breathe
I've seen your post and I like them, but please dont encourage stuff like that. It's bad PR for both companies and its totally off topic.

I come there at least twice a year. I was just there a couple of weeks ago so I don't plan on being back for several months. But Andrew at Dyno4mance can do a great job fine-tuning our baseline file. No need to wait for me.

As for pricing, feel free to call the sales office and speak to either David, Calvin, Dustin or Kim. They are the best people to ask when it comes to this stuff. I'm just the tuner guy/internet thug.

Cheers

Okay kid, I'm gonna have to call bull**** on your rep here. Please have your rep put it in writing and post his name on here so we all can have this "warranty not voided" bull****.

Both packages uses similar parts, if he said he's not going to void warranty on Vishnu products, then there is no way in hell he can void Buschur stuff. You are giving out wrong information.

As with any car, modding it is at your own risk, if you think they are going to guarantee a warranty when your car is modded, you're living in a fantasy. You play the game, be prepared to be heartbroken if a warranty issue arises.

And please, post all the info I requested out so we can all hold Mitsubishi responsible for ALL warranty claims now.

Vishnu Stage 1 + comes with camshafts, ecu tune just to name a few . . . the Ecu tune alone is justification (bull**** reason anyway from mitsu) to kick you in the nuts and throw your warranty out.

If you have a Stage 1+, you can't really hide the fact that the motor has upgraded cams...

Correct. XEDEs are completely untraceable. Even blackbox logging wont reveal them. Cams and gears can be removed in 2-3 hours as well if need be.

On the other hand, reflashed ECUs, even when flashed back to stock, leave a flash count code that a dealership can detect if they decide to look hard enough.

Your not talking to 18 or 19 year old. He's a friend of mine. He's also is telling you straight-up what he was told. He bought his car before me and thats what he told him point blank when asking about mods and warrantys. As far as warranty goes, they replaced my tranny when it was screwing up, put a new ACT clutch for me while they were at it, along with any other knit-pickin thing I didn't like. The fantasy is almost over I'm at 35,500.

Great he's not 18 or 19 years old. That's why I am asking him to go back to his rep, have him put all this talk about keeping factory warranty if he goes with Vishnu product on to paper, sign and date it, and scan it and put it on EvoM. I think this will save people a lot of arguments sake with Mitsubishi if they have warranty issues.

I'm just looking at it in a logical point of view, I don't understand why one companies product will keep mitsu's warranty and another doesn't. And to modify the car and have your warranty kept is a big bonus and it should be shared with other members on EvoM.

What I am trying to say is that to state "buy vishnu keep factory warranty and buy buschur throw factory warranty out" is MISLEADING and the statement should be retracted. WARRANTY is a big factor when people want to modify their car, and to make such statements will skewer potential customers when it is clearly NOT true.

So once again, he said and she said is all fine and dandy, but put up real proof before making such claims so people are not MISLEAD.

thanks
Nebo
