Flash without fuel pump?

Does anyone run a Dynoflash without a Walbro?

I talked to Al, and he suggest a stock intake with K&N drop in, so my mods would be a TBE, MBC, and K&N drop in.

I'm trying to be as effective as possible with the mods I have. And for a few hp difference, I would rather have the reliability of stock as much as possible.

Do you think I would be OK without the Walbro?

The reason fr the pump upgrade is becuse we have seen some stock pumps fail in a way in which they start to have lower pressure - this causes a dangerously lean condition. Obviously, a $90 fuel pump is wise insurance to protect your engine. Just my recomendation. Without a doubt not required IF the stock pump is functining properly - its insurance.

Funny thing is, I read of a guy who had his Walbro slowly fade away whilst causing a lean condition the whole time.

Is that an isolated case?

Does anyone know if the Supra pump is as reliable as the Walbro?

The walbro pump is a direct drop in - supra pump will require modifications

Im still weary of the reliability issues of the Walbro. It seems as though a decent amount of people have had issues with them one way or another.

WB's are failing all over the place lately. If you want to run higher boost, get an upgraded FMIC and injetors. Or just run a higher octane fuel...

I find it strange that Buschur doesn't even include a fuel pump until their Stage 4 setup.

If they can get away with 360 some odd whp, why can't I get away with less than 270ish?
