Other than the compressor housing, what else is different on this turbo compared to the 05 VIII?

What kind of shaft material?

What kind of compressor wheel material?

the fact that it doesn't hold any more boost is due to the taper right? have you guys slapped an mbc on one yet?

it's all the same if you want a different shaft and wheel material you'll have a few options. hot side, tme stuff, cold side evo9 rs jdm mag wheel.

So, the US-Spec Evo IX turbo doesn't have a TiAL shaft or Mg wheel, right?

that's right and you cna't put a 20g wheel in the evo9 turbo.

Is there any reason not to get the TiAL shaft and Mg compressor wheel? Any adverse effects whatsoever?
