How do you remove the studs from the fly wheel?

How do you remove the studs from the fly wheel?

The studs on the outside of the fly wheel. I thought I read something that there is a certain way to remove these....

well when it gets machined they will remove them... if they cant, there a useless shop..you should not be removing them.. leave it to the prof..

I assume you mean to remove the flywheel from the car. An impact hammer is the easiest otherwise you can hold the motor with a ratchet I believe... you could also use the cam gear bolts to hold the motor from spinning

Sometimes if they are very hard to remove you can heat up the area around the studs and then remove them.

you do not have a stud remover? get one from the local autoparts store for your ratchet, they're like $15
