wtf transmission

When I move the shift lever from left to right I have to practically lean on it to get it to move. 1-2 shifts are perfectly fine, 3-4 also. However, when I'm shifting from 2-3 and 4-5, or downshifting from 5-4, and especially 3-2 it's HELL. Getting into reverse is also extremely difficult. I checked my shifter for lubrication on all the ball joints and checked the spring as well. Everything looks fine.

I never had this problem until the past month or so and it seems like it's getting worse.

I got a new tranny from Mitsu 7,000 miles ago, and I've had my short shifter since then, and shift bushings even before that. Previous tranny had no mechanical problems but "was causing p0300." This really has me stumped and I have no idea wtf is wrong. My evo has 47,000 miles on it.

Anyone have any ideas?

Okay, after spending 3 hours in the garage I figured out what happened.

The *** hat at the dealership who put in my new transmission failed to apply anti-sieze lubricant to my brass shift bushings. As a result, they siezed up. I had to cut them off with a dremel to put the stock bushings back on.
