i was just thinking...my friend at school says this happened to him

my friend sam says he just put in an intake in his evo and got a reflash, he says that he was driving his evo without flashing for awhile, now he says that with the intake and reflash, his car is still shaking when he speeds up, like between 3-4 rpm. is there a way to fix this? or whats happening? whats wrong with his car?

Couldn't even begin to tell you what is wrong with the car. Whoever did the flash -- I'd take it back to them and have them check it out. Is it just coincidence that he had this problem after the flash?? Maybe..but I'd still go back. Good luck.

shaking isnt assosiated with and intake and flash... it sounds like a drivetrane problem... maybe one of the differentials...? or there may be a leak somewhere.. causeing the boost not to spool steadily resulting in shaking...

it could be your tires not being balanced, your steering rod broken, CV joint cracken, or your axle fallen off of em.

mostly tires not being balanced.

it's either that or you're misfiring or pre igniting or running lean or something in that area.

No I am talking about the 'A friend has a problem" threads
He can't possibly provide the necessary information so the problem can be diagnosed.
The guy is not even a member but we are going to spend our time diagnosing his problem when he is too lazy to join?
