Will the grease in the APS BOV ever dry out?

As the thread title says.

I have noticed the grease from the piston spilling out of the VTA port on the BOV, I've had to wipe it down twice now. My concern is that if more and more grease comes out, will the piston eventually become so dry that it can't blow off smoothly? (we needs more lube)

Hm.. I guess it's too early to ask, but I'm sure someone will eventually have to take the whole thing apart and relube it. There's no way to evenly relube it using that tiny port...

Well, I've got an inline filter in that line anyway though, so.. probably not the best bet.

Over 30,000 miles with the APS - no problem. No need to re-lube.
