The nice thing about having an MBC or EBC with a flash is that if your flash is too rich you can simply increase the boost, and achieve more power with more air and a better AFR.

Without my MBC I would have been stuck with a power robbing 10.7:1 AFR.

I got an MBC and Al's Flash. It still tapers from 22psi to 20 psi.

I don't know if I got the V3 flash and if I didn't, I don't know why I didn't get it.

and Al's never answer one questions I've asked him on this board.

Did you call him?

He seemed pretty nice when I did, and was willing to answer my questions.

I can't imagine how many PM's he gets on a daily basis, it has to get annoying.

No offense to Dynoflash but I've read alot of people have had this problem AFTER they got the flash, never before. I dont know from personal experience and have been giving him the benefit of the doubt, but It is common. But as far as I know he is the only one who is able to control boost via the flash ( maybe works) . I do like the Idea of an MBC and V# flash but I dont like the idea of cutting lines and the headache of routing the incabin controller ( I got the Hallman EVO rX) . as a side note if the flash turns out to be crap I already have the hallman waiting

No one with the stock turbo can hold 22psi. It will always taper, some more than others, no matter what flash.

If Turbotrix or Works flashes were holding an extra 2psi to the top end and making more power I dont think Al would be in business...

Just curious...
go in from the top, remove the airbox and maf, unbolt the upper IC pipe after the bend at the TB and down by the radiator. take vac lines off intake & fuel rail, remove entire intake boot, BOV & upper IC pipe in one peice, this gives you perfect access to the compressor housing & WG.

"The new "V3" flash that I developed mainatins amazingly steady boost..." -Al.

amazingly steady boost doesn't taper 3psi even with the hallman.

I think my hallman actually holded boost better before the flash. don't get me wrong, I like my flash so far, but this maybe a faulse advertising or bit exaggerated.
