MBC or not

I have a CAI (AEM) and soon will get 3" TBE. I want a flash that controls the boost and holds it till redline. So do you think I still need a MBC, or is that pointless.

Most people use one regardless of the flash. It gives you the control and slightly better spool times.

The flash will hold the stock boost to redline. if you have a mbc you can safely run 21 to redline. Its def. worth it. One of the cheapest mods. I have one for sale to if your interested shot me a pm.

I cut this from another thread but I thought this would pertain to my thread.

Yes, this is true that it doesnt automatically raise boost unless you turn it up. The only point I was making out of all of this is that he doesnt need one if he gets the flash with boost control unless he wants to adjust it often. There is no point in getting the flash with boost at 20psi and then getting an MBC to turn it back down. I just think most people would rather spend money on things that are needed more than buying 2 things that are for the most part doing the same thing.

So in the end, if you want to be able to adjust your boost on a regular basis, then buy the MBC but if you are happy with it set to 19 or 20psi, then just get the flash with boost control.

in the end mbc would be the best run for most reilable power. if your looking for a little jump over stock then stick with the flash.
