Vibrating at Idle

Hello,
I just bought a new 2005 Evo VIII and it has about 550 miles on it. I apologize if this has been discussed already, but after spending $30,000 on a car I would feel better to know there is not a problem with it.

When the car is idling it seems to pulse. It will be a smooth noise, then a quick vibration, back to smooth, then a vibration, and so on. The steering wheel will even shake during the quick vibration.

The RPMs don't really move at all.

I don't know if this is normal, but I would like your opinions. Thanks.

By the way:
The car is completely stock
It was 90 or so degrees outside when it was doing it
It does it cold and after its been driven
It does it when AC is on or off.

that's the lobe on the stock cams, i think it's normal.

should idle at 820 ~ 890 rpm hot and from 1600 rpm to gradually run down.

I get that on my '03. Stock engine, and on hot days. Mostly occurs on warm starts.

Idle is a little high. Should be 750-850, not 1000.

My 03 vibrates when @ idle, steering wheel vibrates as well, vibration go's away with clutch pressed in though. My 06 MR did not vibrate at all @ idle. Do the MRs have softer motor mounts or something?
