Even taking the race fuel out of the equation - still doesn'y add up? We have equally good tuners over here - that are well known world wide.

Well i guess it's just one of those things that are going to remain a mystery. Unless i bring my Evo to the US or one of your cars here!

Tell me what doesn't add up. He was putting down 376whp before and ran 11.6@117.5. That mph is exactly what you'd expect at 376whp, so I'd say the numbers DO add up. That was before the C16 and built head. What I'm waiting for now is a new timeslip to verify the 432whp. I never did believe the 469, because that was in 4th gear, and apparently that dyno reads crazy numbers in the wrong gear...

I think 376 was on c16. However I do believe they extracted more out of it while tuning it at the Battle of the Imports in Orlando. I competed with Joe at that event. His tilton clutch and 1.6x 60' times are no match for my stocker .

Good afternoon gents - well it is over here!

To be honest I think we are going to have to 'agree' to 'disagree' on this one. As we will forever be going around in circles - HOWEVER, when i next visit the states i will deff. make a effort to see some of your cars/tuners if poss.

What is there to disagree with? He ran 11.6@117.5. I don't care what country you're in, that easily qualifies for 375whp. At the very least, he has this much power, and if they've added more since then, it would only make sense that he dyno higher, right? You've been skeptical, but you haven't actually said anything or tried to refute the raw numbers themselves. Tell me what you think 117.5mph translates to in terms of whp..

400 is about the point where that's all you can get safely and reliably. People are trying to get to 450 but that's with alky injection AND C16 with almost all the bolt-ons imaginable. 350 w/cams is the most reasonable figure, and anywhere between 350-400 is doable with cams and alky on pump gas (93oct).

Saying you would "just like a 11or 12sec daily driver" is a pretty broad statement. Stock 05 Evos are already 12-second cars...12.9, but still 12s. With only a few, simple bolt-ons, you can get to the mid or low 12s, depending on how well you drive, as you can see in my sig. A full 3" TBE and some leaded race gas could put me into the 11s potentially, so take that for what it's worth...

http://www.speedworldmotorplex.com/calc.htm

According to the calculator, he was making about 418whp on that particular run with the additional fuel tuning. (Even more considering a higher than 18% drivetrain loss).

EVIL EVO VIII- I know u have a 6 speed. I think scott made a 5th gear pull if im not mistaken and ended with like 401 or something close to that. Dont know what he made with previous pulls! I just made a suggestion for next time, just for the hell of it to see if u also get some gains!L8r!
You are mistaken. I have never made a 5th gear pull.
