Another thing, to get more boost on the stocker I ran with no boost controller hooked up and the actuator rod all the way tight, this would yeild a 30 psi spike but the boost would still bleed off to 18-19 psi through the traps at 8300rpm.

DAMN Curt!!! You never seem to stop amazing me, lol..... I though the good old saying "Just remove the wastegate vacuum line and you'll run 10's" was just that, an OLD SAYING!!! Hahaha.... you proved me wrong. Can't wait to see what your new numbers will be. I'll be waiting for the 9 sec time slip sometime in the near future.

p.s. By the way the old buschur fmic for a 1g that you sold me, is still running strong!!! (This was a couple of years back!!)

I can't tell you anything about calibrating dynos or none of that shiat but I can definately tell you the dyno said it made that power. Overall they don't really care about these numbers they always back up their **** at the track. I don't know why Miguel even mentioned this as he knew it was going to generate a lot of bs.
I know we already spoke and cleared the confusion. The thread was not made to start **** it was made to post the newest Hp for stock turbo and heads up on the newest time that this Evo will have new world record for stock turbo!! I know it will do it bc i have seen the work Aerocomp does and i have no doubts about them!

Also the turbo has not been ported, stock intake and exhaust manifolds, stock internals, no standalone management system. He has dyno sheet to prove it!! What do u all think?!.I think could be a new record for stock turbo!
i would believe that if he has modified internals, standalone management system, 720cc injectors, and a stroker kit. if none, then i think it is BS.

I believe it fully. My 05 is making roughly 340whp with exhaust, safc, hks drop in, leaned out on 110. So i know its possible. I also have another friend making roughly 400whp on 272s and 110 octane also. 05s are no joke

Don't claim "rough" HP numbers without a dyno slip. Your are basing this off some less-than-believable drag strip claims from Idaho. Gaining 90+whp from an exhaust and S-AFC on 110octane? Right...

Let me clarify some facts here,

No his name is not Curt Brown, and? Because Curt Brown didn't achieve this goal means others can't ??!!? Since when?!? I think theres a lot of people outhere confused. I still remember when people used to tell me " Oh its impossible to run in the LOW 9's without juice and weighin NEAR 3000lbs. And look what happened?! A blasting 9.2@156 making my GSX the WORLDS fastest & quickest STREET without NOS.
Soon, we will shooting into the 8's and still NO NOS. The car made 469AWHP PERIOD, I don't really care a bit if you guys don't want to believe it or not. Also, you forgot to mention that Curt Brown ran 9.4 on a STRIPPED to death car not FULL equipped like MINE.

KasEVO8- Once again a comment coming from someone with not much knowledge I guess? Nitrous is not the only solution when it comes down to making power, I read someone post that the turbo wasn't going to last long. That is correct, we dont expect the turbo to have a long life at all.

pnoiboy626- I CHALLENGE you and or ANYONE to come down to O-town we will dyno the car, MAKE the power then, for some $ we will gladly remove the head so you can VERIFY yourself that the car retains all FACTORY INTERNALS except a ported head, and when I mean factory internals means FACTORY pistons, and factory RODS. Come on down, let's see if anyone takes the challenge. It's amezing when someone achieves a goal like this one people can just take it and believe it PERIOD.

PS: Curt B, I mentioned you because you were mentioned in the 1st page and was stating some facts, that's pretty much it.

Also, you guys forget that we are in Florida, where there is HUMIDITY like crazy and heat that you guys from upnorth wouldnt handle and most likely pass out. Im sure when my brother ran 11.6 here in this COOKING OVEN FLORIDA if he would have ran in Ohio or NY or some of those states upnorth that is FREEZING cold he would have ran deep low 11's. NO DOUBT about that. And with some lil more mods you don't think he's able? Hmmmm

Hey JesusR,

Just to make people have an easier time digesting this new record. Can you post the dyno graph and the uncorrected numbers. I am quite sure, that in that heat and humidity the raw numbers were slightly less than the corrected numbers. Or at least post the correction factor applied to reach the 469 awhp. I dont have a problem believing the numbers, people have on occasion doubted some of my times and MPH in the past. I had to scan the slips to make some doubters happy.

BTW, I remember you from back on the Supra forums when you had the T78 and then the T88. I have the T78 kit on my MKIV now. Didnt you use to run Garage Advance?

Brian

If anyone can pull this off it's Aerocomp, they have the money, facility and most important patience! Although running the hell out of the stock turbo is like beating a dead horse, no matter how many few extra HP you tweek out of it the stocker on a heavy Evo it's a snail. Any kind of decent time with that turbo means you will be in fourth gear before the 1/8th, then you have to ride the turd out the other half, feels so slow that you could fall asleep.
On the subject of my old 9.4 second Eclipse you must remember it was a budget car with just a VPC, 660's, and a 65# per minute turbo(thanks FP!)(FP3065), the car was light but it was built with less than $15k invested, never dyno tuned and ran 148.5mph at Norwalk, throw in a AEM and a bigger turbo and it would have been history.
