Wassup fam,

I was cursing on 495 going to drop some ladies home and im in 5th gear chillin.

Next thing I know is that i go to speed up and i rev up like im in neutral. I saying WTF?! I look down and the shifter is in neutral. WHATEVER I keep going and it pops out again!

Has this occured with anyone else? My 5th gear will grind if I try to shift very fast. So does 3rd gear. I use Penzoil syncromesh tranny fluid and i have about 65,XXX miles on the car.

Please somebody help me out and give me a solution!?

That will be your 5th gear syncro I think I spelled it right......

 

Your syncros may be shot. Have you been speed-shifting?

 

what color Evo do you have

 

I have Silver Evo...

Speed shifting???? Fast shifting? yea. SHifting without releasing the clutch no.
