It is important to remember that with alcohol injection it is very imporatnt to always test the unit to make sure it working properly when you get in the car - takes 3 seconds to do this

This is why the smc kit has a built in pressure testing light - the only guy I know of who blew an engine with this kit knew he had a problem with his unit having a short and still went out to run a drag track event - he held it down in 3rd gear even though he knew the kit had stopped working

My point - if you are careful you wont have any problems

Also - smc is now working on a saftey system which can cut boost if the kit fails - this is in the works - I will be testing it very soon
Damn, Man you keep sticking with that BS story of how I held down the gas in 3rd.
So let me clarify for you once again, I was having some kind of problem with the kit, so I removed it and re-installed it and everything was working fine, ( which I notified you of ) so a week later I went to the drags and within a fraction of a second my A/F went from low 11's to high 13's , again it all went down within a FRACTION of a second, I immediatly let of the gas, unfortunatly the motor was already toast.
Get it straight bud, Thanks............

Do the newer kits have a much smaller nozzle? I'm working on tuning mine, but it is not even close to moving the A/F by over 2 full points at full spray (which is what you are saying your kit did).

The upside of a smaller nozzle is that if it gets clogged or you run out of meth, you may not toast your motor as quickly, if at all. The downside is that you will not make as much power as you would have with the big jet.
