Thumbs up Throttle response....

I loosen the two 10mm nut on the throttle cable and adjust the throttle cable as tight as possible without affecting the idle and all I can say is . No more free play and throttle response was great\instant. Free mod and faster throttle response =

I seriously think the pedal response on my Evo is "too sensitive". Sometimes I have to let off the pedal when driving over some uneven road cause my car jerks if I let it rest on the pedal.

Exactly what I was thinking I even have to press the clutch because the car jerks and jerks and jerks ...
Sometimes I look in the rear view because people probably think "this idiot can't drive manual"

Thanks but never heard of snapping a cable by flooring. must be cheap if that should ever happen

I'm curious as to why all the slack is left in the cable... I hightly doubt you'll break the cable. It's made so that you can't tighten it to the point of it possibly breaking from too much gas pedal.

I believe the slack is there to prevent you from rear ending another car by accidently tapping on the gas pedal lightly.

I like it now that the slack is gone
