Actually no the WR will not hold higher boost pressure to redline at all. At 26 PSI it was tappering for me to 22-23 PSI. 367 WHP at 26 PSI on 93 octane. Had 272's and magnus intake manifold as well as other goodies.

^ What kind of dyno are those numbers on? Cars make that much power with those mods without a new turbo easy.

I think the WR is a waste of money.... for the pwer gained. I think the stock 05 Turbo could pull those numbers...

correct me if I'm wrong Dan...

Ya I'm alittle disappointed on those numbers myself... I'm still on stock turbo and put down 375 on 93 and 398 on race gas.. I have:
intake, exhaust, cams, injectors, utec, manifold
I'm seriously doubting the power of the WR as of right now.. for making the 441whp on that video of that one Evo @ Switzer.. maybe their dyno isn't calibrated correctly or something?? considering those mods are greater than what they had you should get more I would think??

Turn the boost up higher, and it might hold higher. Don't ask me to explain why, which I could attempt, but would probably be wrong. Only recommended on race gas, of course.

That's exactly what I'm guessing is the case here.
He's had those WR's for R&D for a long time, so he knows what it takes to get them rocking, whereas most tuners that are just starting to mess around with them for the first time.

I'd sit tight before making any ASSumptions about the "turbo suck"ing, to quote one Dyno flasher.

Regards,

Al never flashed this car according to the 11 page thread in the dynoflash forum. The owner of this car took it to pruven to see if the tune he had gotten was screwed up at all. Al did a dyno run with the car and the A/F and everything came out good so he never tuned the car. Al commented in the thread that there may be something wrong with this particular owner's car.
