Nobody is saying that Tym didnt make that power just that more info is coming out that results arent consistant with those results. Who knows whats going on at this point. Could be the dyno and settings Tym uses, could be the proto WRs are accidentally very different from the ones shipping to consumers. What is needed is about 20 more charts like Al and Doug and Tym posted

Different dyno, different conditions, different day, different everything. I personally really trust this result because this is a local dyno and complete independent testing.

Agreed , but that doesn't help the ppl who already purchased and are hoping to see those results
Man, I know it sucks, but sometimes there is no insult like the truth. I have found myself of the bad end of that reality in life more than once. But that was mostly back when I was trying to make power with an NA Honda.

Think if it was a 05 turbo

The run #13 is from same car new folder so they start at 1 again. So again since I had allready tuned this car before it took less time to get her dialed in. Only a few tweaks here and there on the map. Run #13 being the last one of the day on the new tune.

Edit: the original 16g turbo was totally stock, NO 10.5 hotside. It was a factory 2003 Evo turbo

Post your mods, whp and the tuner.

Let me start
BTW this is my friends car

Cone filter
3" TBE
MBC
660 Injectors
255 lph pump

TurboTrix ... 312 awhp
DynoFlash ... 280 awhp

becoming more like a white tortoise
Hate to break it to you, but those numbers suck if they were with the White Rabbit. Now I am having second thoughts. Those numbers can be achieved with stock turbo. Look at Sleet with 315whp. Stock turbo. And the White Rabbit costs 1500!

I agree with you Sleet. Your car is making more power on stock turbo and you have the TT flash as well.

Doug,

Whenever you get a chance pust up my sheet so people can see how much Torque you got me on your Dyno. SO people can compare the TME to that car on the runs yu posted.

Don't think you could really compare the two cars since you have FMIC and a few other mods. But when I get to the shop I will post the graphs if you like.

I _LOVE_ my TME too. Together with the Ebay/SSa header, I made 21whp from bolt on and tuning. That's more than I made with my cams! It also bears mentioning that even with a header the TME is still cheaper than the WR by a good chunk.

I still think that more Whirte Rabbit results will be a great thing. The more we know and greater number of cars in the pool of comparison, the better.

In my opinion, his post deserves major praise, because he just saved a lot of people $1500.
Well Doug's post is cretainly an eye opener

I was expecting modest but tangible gains from the WR - but less than the obviously misleading 441 whp claimed

Its shocking to see that the WR actually looses power in the lower end of the power band

The WR was certainly not making any extra power on the car we had on our dyno yesterday

I guess the moral to this story for me is that some shocking outlandish whp claim is meaningless unless its back up with data, and A- B testing in a controlled situation as a before and after.

In the UK there is a firm that makes a upgraded TME with a dual ball bearing conversion. That turbo to date has been the most potent stock like turbo I have tested. Interestingly, the owner of that turbo has bought a WR unit and will be in to test it against his ball bearing TME soon.
