The WR was certainly not making any extra power on the car we had on our dyno yesterday
I guess the moral to this story for me is that some shocking outlandish whp claim is meaningless unless its back up with data, and A- B testing in a controlled situation as a before and after.

Be sure to post that one up, please. I hope he hasn't sold the titanium turbo yet, just in case.
Thanks for the dyno sheet Doug and your honest opinion.
Could the turbo be slightly modified that Mr. Switzwer tuned? Has anybody asked that question?
Different psi maybe? One holding boost better?
Could one turbo compared to another be slightly different. Maybe a production problem? Wastgate problem?
How high of race gas octane was used to reach 441whp? C16? or higher?
There are too many factors still unknown and MANY tricks of the trade too?
Don't go making a decision yet on just a couple dyno sheets. Lets see what happens when different tuners get their hands on this turbo over the next couple weeks.

I guess the real tale will be told when Vishnu tunes a couple cars tomorrow with this turbo.
Im gonna go ahead and say Im really pissed I bought this turbo. I was completely mislead by Switzer's dyno and FP's claims. FP has been KNOWN for outstanding quality and work with turbos so in no way was I skeptical about this turbo, but now I am, and the problem is, its sitting next to me. I didnt have the money to buy this turbo but I got it - and now what?
I find it more than sketchy Switzer gets these awesome numbers, yet the only 2 independent dynos Ive seen so far have been identical to stock numbers.... thats scary... is someone bull****ting here trying to make some quick cash or what???
I REALLY expect Switzer to jump in here... what the **** kinda tune was he running to pull a 440whp run on stock cams? Perhaps a rabbit out of the hat trick!

Different dyno's equel different #'s.
Mr. Switzer produced 420whp and then on the last run he pulled the intake off the car and it gained 20 more whp. Read the thread! Even in other threads regarding the removal of the intake/filter with the use of EMS they gained any where from 10-20whp too.
This was also tuned on a car with EMS and race gas. Not on pump and a reflash. Don't expect great results without the proper supporting mods.
If everybody thinks this turbo is a miracle turbo going to make 500whp reliably with stock spool, you are sadly misinformed. Yes it can probably make crazy hp on a very aggressive tune with all the tricks in the book and race gas. This turbo SHOULD outshine the stock turbo by a little, under certain circumstances.
Since the stock turbo is such a good platform to begin with, a small improvement over the stock is what you should be looking for. Not a miracle turbo. Is a small increase in power with stock like spool justify a price tag for $1,500, in some people's eyes, YES. If you road race and that extra little power means a second or two off your lap time, I think it's money well spent.

From this weekend on (VDD) and from 2-3 weeks out more results will be posted. WORKS is tuning in a couple customers cars right now also. Imo a price drop from FP will result especially after the '06 cars are everywhere and sales 'taper off'(no pun intended)

Oh well guys, it seems to me that thebunny is dead. So far the results dont look that good. 400whp race gas on 27psi. Tapering down to 20psi. I was going to run and buy this turbo it seems I am going to rethink it.

FP CLAIMS it will hold boost - MOST people here are claiming it doesnt hold boost at all! I think thats qualified as false advertising dont you. Also, I know different dyno=different numbers, but they are in the same ballpark. Its easy to see the numbers provided early on are obviously WAYYYYY different than what is being shown now... I cant see how you can disagree there.
Funny both Switzer and FP havent responded to any threads yet.
Something is not adding up. Remember, this last car tested had AEM just like car that made 440awhp. It also had HKS 272 cams, yet made 35 LESS whp? Comeon...Do you think its OK a vendor is selling a turbo for $1550 that makes 5whp more than the stock turbo? Right from FP's sight. "Some instances realized a 70+whp increase at 7000rpm compared to the stock turbo" Ummm where? 70!!!!! How bout 5? This was on race gas at high boost too!!!!!!!!

^Give it more time, it's not competely over for the White Rabbit, there still are plenty of tests left on this turbo and it still is to early to come up with a final answer. We now beginning to give up on the turbo to early, just like a lot of us overhyped it at the beginning. More time, more time.
