mods consists of:tbe/264cams/mbc/s-afc/walbro pump/660cc injectors.ill probly get more with some more tuning and with better temp for the day.but tuning on a hot day is kinda good also since you know with harsh conditions youre still making some power

YOu can't feel 6 WHP but you will surely feel the additional 16 ft/ib of torque there!! I have the same mods as you but with HKS 272's, am eager to see what mine does regardless of what everybody says in the other thread...

I'm assuming that people will start seeing bigger gains when they actually tune to the new turbo's capabilities. It's obvious it spools as fast as stock and has gains over just about the whole useable power band, but what isn't obvious is that the air is probably a lot cooler and the turbo probably is capable of pushing out more cool air at higher RPM's as well. With cooler air you can lean out the mix a bit, and keep the timing advanced more. With more flow obviously you can keep the boost from tapering up top as well, and you won't be maxing out the turbo & just blowing hot air up in the higher rpms as well. If people are expecting huge gains without tuning to the new turbo it just won't happen, but it's great to see even without tuning it is making a little more power.

Dunno why, but the WR has generated so much hype (good & bad) that the threads got very heated. Maybe this thread will be better. I don't see what's so hard about letting people post dyno sheets and personal experiences without *****ing about every little detail and discounting everything. Time and lots of data points will show how this turbo is overall. I think it would be great for a person like me who enjoys quick spooling and low RPM torque for track days and doesn't really need HUGE horsepower. If we just simmer down and let the information flow we will find out for sure...

Wow, so since the hot and cold side housings are roughly the same size as what you had before, all that low end grunt can be attributed to the new turbine/compressor wheel designs and lighter materials with no extra tuning at all? Pretty good, especially for a non-ball bearing turbo.

How does the transient boost response feel now? Quicker spool between shifts?

But, did doug test the car on race fuel at 27psi? Not bashing him, just can't remember if he did pump gas or race.

Nice write up. I just dont understand how it will make power as Al, TT and Vishnu could not extract much power from it. The three of them were very close to each other results. Its a bit hard to buy this turbo and take it to Tim thinking that he is the only tuner to do things right!!!!

after all, we still need some dyno numbers from 3rd party tuner with a flash.

Did SpeedLimit have anything to do with this?
Hi,

Your comments reflect exactly why both threads were closed. Specifically, taking little information and building a mountain of BS. Both threads had become useless because of all the fighting. Your assertion that FP's White Rabbit is banned from discussion here is stupid. Finally, Force'd Perf's comments were not removed:

Speedlimit.....

PS I close those messes.
